La Mer on Khao Takiab Beach, is an established favourite, with consistently great Thai seafood, plus European menu and wonderful ocean views from the outside dining terrace.
Taj Mahal in the centre of town has a great selection of Indian curries and dishes, if you fancy a change from Thai.
Hagi Japanese Restaurant, next door to the Sofitel, has all the best dishes the cuisine can offer, benefiting from the super-fresh seafood which is very skillfully prepared. The service and ambience are superb in this popular restaraunt.
Orchids French and Thai Restaurant is a great option for those evenings when members of your party fancy different flavours. Both cuisines are very well represented here. There is also a good selection of wine, efficient service and well prepared food.
Coco 51, on soi 51, is a really popular international restaurant. The tastefully decorated al-fresco seafront dining area creates the perfect ambience and the fine European and Thai menus are top-notch. They have regular live music, friendly and prompt service and great drinks selection. Booking recommended.
The Pasta Factory has gained a loyal following with Thai’s and holidaymakers alike, for the delicious Italian food, the quaint garden setting and the chic ambience.
