  • a most wonderful time in Pranburi

    Steve Lacey (February 20th, 2012) - rating 86%

    Ben,

We had a most wonderful time in Pranburi - we found the Staff - in particular yourself - VERY helpful & nothing was too much trouble. Daily 'maid' service was very efficient & most welcome. Wireless Internet facility most welcome/useful & used greatly by us all.

The facility I would probably rate as a 4 star establishment - there are a number of issues that I would point out if you wish to be 'top drawer' & I hope that you will pass these on to the Management.

The House we stayed in was rather tired & worn in places and could do with a general 'refurbishment', in particular the kitchen areas. No HOT water was available at any time in the upstairs & downstairs kitchens. NO 'pool specific' towels. Large pool/Jacuzzi were delightful - but could do with draining and given a 'deep' clean in the near future & a daily clean with the leaf/flower 'net' would be useful. NO hand towels/water available in the small Fitness Centre.

If a Family was resident in the facility & wished to 'cook' the odd meal - the pots/pans cutlery/crockery are sorely inadequate for a family of more than three persons. NO 'oven' - only a Microwave - I would add that we ate 'out' at Restaurants always & this was not a major problem for us at all. Upstairs (small) refrigerator needed defrosting badly.

We were very happy to have the use of bicycles - but felt they were rather outdated and needed constant attention by your resident Engineer.

Breakfast at Evason Resort was fabulous - Brian enjoyed it every day as did Fred & I most days - delicious!! He loves a breakfast does our Brian !

Please take my comments in the spirit that they are intended. I miss the peace and solitude of Pranburi already & cannot wait to return.

We all thank you warmly for your kind service to us during our stay with you.

    Best wishes.
