Hua Hin Travel and Destination Guide

Nightlife in Hua Hin

Because of its royal connection, the laws of the Kingdom are fairly strictly policed in Hua Hin, so most drinking establishments will close around midnight, and there are officially no Go-Go bars, although there are a few beer bars in town with hostesses.

Hua Hin is famous for its live music scene, and hosts an annual Jazz Festival. Because of this, many venues have live bands throughout the year. All in all, the nightlife is less bawdy than other resort towns, and more amenable to couples and families.

The Sasi Garden Theatre is located near the Hyatt Regency Resort and offers a Thai dance performance with Thai set dinner.

Sasi's Ba Bar next door is a pub and restaurant. Live music until 1am.  Soft Rock, Ballad, Easy Listening and Latin are favorites here.  There is a full bar serving beers, cocktails, and wines, and the menu is European grill.

Crawford's Irish Bar on Poolsuk Rd has giant TV's, good drinks, and highly regarded pub grub. Popular with local expats and suitable for families.

Billy's Bar & Restaurant, in the Bazaar is a home-from-home establishment for those hankering after a “god old pub” atmosphere, and has lots of Brits in attendance. Pub grub, darts and sports TV.

The Sugar Cane Bar is housed in a converted Thai wooden house first built in the 1930's. It has been modernized tastefully and serves great drinks in a friendly atmosphere.

Satchmo Club at the Sofitel. A live band play here every night, and stopping by for a cocktail is a great excuse for visiting this classic hotel, reputed to have been Hua Hin’s first luxury hotel.

Hua Hin Brewing Company Bar, next to the Hilton is the town’s busiest nightclub. Decorated like a rustic fisherman’s house, with extensive drinks menu, both locals and guests flock here each night to enjoy live music and DJs.

P and P Bar on Poolsuk Road has lots of attractive girls, and the pool is free. Good music, top service, friendly staff, one for the Lads. Ice cold beers and a full range of cocktails are available.

Octopussy:  risqué name, with waitresses dressed in risqué school uniforms. Sports on TV.

Blue Angel Cabaret on Soi Bintaban is a nightly lady-boy show with all the usual feathers, frills and fantasies.
